Responsibilities Safely operate various vehicles including commercial trucks and automobiles to deliver goods across designated routes Follow planned delivery routes accurately while adhering to DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and safety standards Communicate effectively with clients upon delivery, addressing questions or concerns professionally Manage loading and unloading of merchandise, utilizing safe lifting practices for heavy or bulky items Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and inventory records Upsell additional products or services when appropriate to enhance customer satisfaction and sales goals Organize deliveries efficiently by planning routes and prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines Experience Prior experience in commercial driving or automobile transportation preferred; retail store experience is a plus Strong knowledge of route driving, merchandising, and client communication techniques Basic math skills for pricing calculations, measurements, and inventory management Demonstrated ability to build positive customer relationships through excellent service skills Familiarity with DOT regulations, safe lifting practices, and heavy lifting techniques required for handling merchandise Proven organizational skills to manage deliveries effectively in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and clients seamlessly Join us as a Delivery Driver and become a vital part of delivering happiness!
