00 Hourly Level Entry Position Type Part Time Job Shift Any Category Transportation Apply Description We have an immediate opportunity for two Part Time Delivery Driver positions in our Little Ferry, NJ location! BioTrans LLC is a global logistics provider specializing in cold chain transportation, technology and infrastructure for the life sciences industry.
Position Shift:
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday route driving early morning start times as early as 2:30 am. In state and out of state driving including city driving. Position Shift 2: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday route driving early morning start times as early as 4:00 am. In state and out of state driving including city driving.
Delivery Driver Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Safely operate, load, unload and deliver freight utilizing a small box truck or cargo van. Adhere to assigned routes and follow time sensitive schedules that require detailed attention. Maintain a strong commitment to safety. Ability to navigate surrounding areas using GPS and comfortable with scanning devices. Comfortable climbing into and out of vehicles repeatedly with no difficulties. Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections; fuel the truck as needed; evaluate and report issues through the appropriate parties (dispatch/ managers). Clean, wash and sanitize assigned vehicles. Physical Requirements & Working Conditions While performing the duties of the job, the employee is frequently exposed to outdoor weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Frequent stooping, bending, kneeling and squatting. Extended periods of sitting.
Qualifications Minimum Requirements and Employee Expectations:
Must be 21+ years of Age Valid driver's license/ Real ID Acceptable driving record (2 or fewer moving violations in the past 3 years and no DWI/DUI in the past 5 years for insurance purposes).
