The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to handle heavy lifting and various types of delivery vehicles, including box trucks and vans. Duties Safely operate delivery vehicles, including box trucks and vans, to transport goods to designated locations. Load and unload items using equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts as needed. Ensure all deliveries are completed in a timely manner while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations. Provide exceptional customer service by interacting positively with clients during deliveries. Perform routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety and functionality before each trip. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including tracking shipments and obtaining signatures when required. Assist with moving and organizing inventory in the warehouse as needed. Requirements Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred. Ability to operate a pallet jack, forklift, or other loading equipment is a plus. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients. Capability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with loading and unloading goods. Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends if necessary.
