Duties Safely operate box trucks and other commercial vehicles to deliver goods across designated routes throughout NYC and Long Island Load and unload cargo using equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual lifting techniques Ensure accurate delivery by following specified routes and delivery schedules Provide excellent customer service by engaging professionally with clients during drop-offs and pickups Maintain vehicle cleanliness, perform routine inspections, and report any mechanical issues promptly Assist with warehouse tasks including inventory management, moving items within the facility, and organizing shipments Follow all safety protocols related to heavy lifting, manual transmission driving, and equipment operation to prevent accidents or injuries Qualifications Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier with route driving expertise Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; commercial driver's license (CDL) preferred but not required Experience operating box trucks or similar commercial vehicles with manual transmission Familiarity with warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks; certification preferred Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally Ability to lift heavy items regularly and perform physical tasks involving moving and heavy lifting Knowledge of traffic laws, safety regulations, and best practices for load & unload procedures Join us in delivering excellence!
