Responsibilities Assist with daily shop task, including: unpacking flowers, processing stems, organizing inventory, cleaning work areas, manual handling, moving floral inventory, and preparing arrangements for delivery. Prepare simple floral arrangements and help designers with production as needed. Safely deliver floral orders to homes, businesses, funeral homes, hospitals, and community locations, adhering to traffic regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards. Communicate professionally with customers during deliverie and shop interaction, providing excellent customer service and addressing any special requests or concerns. Maintain accurate delivery logs using mobile devices or delivery management software Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) or personal vehicle suitable for delivery routes, with a clean driving record Knowledge of route driving and navigation to optimize delivery efficiency Strong customer service skills combined with the ability to follow detailed instructions and traffic regulations Support order packing, labeling, and routing for efficient delivery schedules. Help with restocking, merchandising, and general shop upkeep. Requirements Valid driver's license and clean driving record. Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods. Comfortable driving in Westchester County. Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently. Positive attitude and willingness to learn floral shop tasks. Professional and courteous with customers and vendors. Schedule & Compensation 36 hours per week Weekday schedule with occasional weekend or holiday shifts during busy seasons.
