Part-Time FedEx Personal Vehicle Delivery Driver - Flexible Schedule CTE Logistics, Inc. | Capital Region, NY Looking for flexible part-time work without spending your entire day at a job? CTE Logistics, Inc., an independent Contracted Service Provider for FedEx Ground, is hiring part-time Alternative Vehicle Program (AVP) Delivery Drivers. This position allows you to use your own qualifying personal vehicle to deliver FedEx packages in your local community. WHY THIS JOB IS DIFFERENT

Unlike a traditional full-day delivery route, AVP drivers use their own personal vehicle and handle smaller packages in a designated local delivery area. No CDL required. No large delivery truck. You pick up your assigned packages, follow the FedEx-approved routing application and complete your deliveries safely and efficiently.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

As an AVP Delivery Driver, you will: Pick up your assigned FedEx packages Load packages into your personal vehicle Follow the designated FedEx routing/delivery application Safely drive to residential and/or commercial delivery locations Scan and deliver packages accurately Provide professional customer service Communicate with CTE management when necessary Complete your assigned deliveries safely and efficiently AVP packages are generally smaller than those handled on our traditional delivery routes, with packages for this position up to approximately 30 lbs.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Candidates must: Be 21 years of age or older Have a valid driver's license Have at least one full year of licensed driving experience Have a safe driving record and meet applicable FedEx driver qualification requirements Own or have authorized use of a qualifying personal vehicle Have a current smartphone with active cellular/data service Be comfortable using GPS and delivery-routing applications Be able to safely lift and carry packages weighing up to approximately 30 lbs. Be dependable, punctual and able to follow instructions Successfully complete applicable FedEx/First Advantage screening requirements Previous delivery experience is helpful but not required for the right candidate.

VEHICLE REQUIREMENTS

Your vehicle must meet applicable FedEx AVP requirements and be safe, reliable, registered and properly insured.
