JOB TITLE

CDL TRUCK DRIVING INSTRUCTOR

Commercial Driver Training, Inc. is a vocational school founded in 1961 offering courses in professional tractor trailer, truck and bus driving. We are looking for qualified, experienced CDL Class A Drivers. We will train you to become a certified NYS Driver Instructor. Come join us for a rewarding experience of sharing your knowledge of CDL Driving to students looking to enter this field. We are a 7 day a week operation. The position will require one weekend day. A typical work week would be Sunday - Thursday (off Friday and Saturday) or Tuesday - Saturday (off Sunday and Monday). Part Time Positions would be weekend day and/or flexible schedule during the week

Responsibilities:

To teach, train and prepare a student for the NYS DMV Road Test Backing maneuvers, pre-trip inspection, road training Safety Classes Complete Evaluations as well as grading a student Some travel to Fleet locations for on-site training

Qualifications:

CDL Class A License

• 5 Years Recent Tractor Trailer Experience DOT Physical Card
• High School Diploma or G.E.D.
• Clean Driving Record (under 4 points)
• Must be able to pass a drug screen/alcohol testing
