As needed based on business requirements About the Position We are seeking a reliable, safety-conscious Box Truck Driver to make local and regional pickups within approximately a 200-mile radius . This is a part-time, on-call position that is ideal for someone looking for flexible work and who enjoys being on the road. The driver will operate a company box truck to pick up and transport materials, products, and equipment while providing professional service to customers and representing the Company in a positive manner. Responsibilities Safely operate a Company box truck for local and regional pickups Travel within approximately a 200-mile radius of the Company's location Load, secure, transport, and unload materials as required (with other team members) Inspect the vehicle before and after trips and report any maintenance or safety concerns Complete required delivery and pickup documentation Communicate professionally with customers and Company personnel Follow all applicable traffic, safety, and Company policies Maintain a clean and organized vehicle Perform other related duties as assigned • Assist with warehouse operations when not on delivery routes, including moving inventory and organizing stock Qualifications Valid driver's license in good standing CDL Class A or B is not required but must have 2-5 years experience driving a box truck Clean and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) Ability to safely operate a box truck Ability to safely load, secure, and unload materials Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs Reliable and dependable with a strong attendance record Professional customer service and communication skills Ability to work independently and with a team and manage time effectively Ability to successfully complete a required medical certification examination through a Company-designated occupational medical provider Driver Requirements Employment is contingent upon meeting the Company's driver qualification requirements, which include: Verification of a valid driver's license Review of the applicant's Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) Successful completion of the Company's required medical certification examination through an occupational medical provider Meeting all applicable federal, state, and Company requirements for operating the assigned vehicle Schedule This is a part-time, on-call position . Hours and assignments will vary based on Company needs. Candidates must be available to accept assignments with reasonable advance notice when possible.
