Tague Lumber seeks a reliable Box Truck Delivery Driver to safely deliver lumber, millwork, windows, doors, and building materials to contractors and homeowners across Greater Philadelphia. Responsibilities include operating a 26-foot box truck, loading and securing materials, verifying orders, and providing excellent customer service at each stop. Perform pre- and post-trip inspections, follow DOT and company safety standards, and assist with yard or warehouse tasks as needed. Responsibilities Safely operate a 26-foot box truck to deliver building materials to job sites and customer locations across the Greater Philadelphia area Load, secure, and unload lumber, millwork, windows, doors, and other materials using proper material-handling techniques Verify orders against delivery documents, obtain customer signatures, and accurately complete delivery paperwork or electronic logs Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance or safety issues promptly Communicate professionally with dispatch, yard staff, and customers to coordinate delivery times and resolve delivery issues Follow all DOT, company, and safety regulations, including proper use of PPE and safe lifting practices Maintain a clean, organized truck and assist with yard or warehouse duties when needed Represent Tague Lumber's customer-focused culture by providing courteous, reliable service on every delivery Required Skills Box truck operation Commercial driving safety DOT regulations knowledge Load securement Material handling Basic vehicle inspection and maintenance Route navigation and GPS use Order verification and documentation Customer service Time management
