Full Job Description Responsibilities:

• Safely and efficiently operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods to customers
• Load and unload products from the vehicle using appropriate equipment, such as forklifts or pallet jacks
• Plan and follow the most efficient routes for timely deliveries
• Ensure all necessary paperwork, such as delivery logs and invoices, are completed accurately
• Provide excellent customer service by delivering products in a professional and courteous manner
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance, including checking oil, tires, and brakes
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving

Experience:

• Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role
• Familiarity with warehouse operations and procedures
• Knowledge of commercial driving regulations and safety standards
• Ability to operate various types of delivery vehicles, including tractor-trailers and refrigerated trailers
• Proficient in using GPS devices and route optimization software
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
