Job Description

P&R Trucking is seeking an experienced Box truck driver to serve our supply chain logistics department in a safe and timely manner. All Applicants must be kind and courteous to all customers they interact with.

BE ABLE TO MAKE ON TIME PICKUPS AND DELIVERIES BASED ON SET SCHEDULE!
The route starts in Cookeville, TN. This Route operates Every Monday thru Saturday. Schedule 320pm Depart Cookeville post office. 355pm Arrive Campaign 405pm Depart Campaign 410pm Arrive Rock Island 420pm Leave Rock Island 435pm Arrive Walling 445pm Depart Walling 455pm Arrive Doyle 500pm Depart Doyle 515pm Arrive Sparta 525pm Depart Sparta 0600pm Arrive Cookeville and Offload Truck. 0615pm Finished This route operates Monday thru Saturday Responsibilities Transport USPS Mail over land to and from retail and distribution centers Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance Meet delivery schedules Document and log work/rest periods and miles spent driving and retain fuel/toll receipts Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions Collect and verify delivery instructions Report defects, accidents or violations Skills Proven work experience as a truck driver Hands on experience with electronic equipment and software (GPS, AVL units, CB etc) Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations No recent moving or driving violations Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions etc) Valid truck driving license

Applicants must be able to pass a Urine and Hair Follicle drug test. Are you willing to have a pre employment drug test and be subjected to random drug testing?
