Duties Safely operate box trucks, to deliver furniture across designated routes within Austin. Load and unload cargo using manual handling techniques, pallet jacks, or material handling equipment while adhering to safe lifting practices. Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and on schedule, following route plans and traffic regulations. Maintain communication with dispatch via mobile devices to receive updates, report issues, or confirm deliveries. Assist with warehouse operations when necessary, including inventory management, material handling, and moving goods within the facility. Provide excellent customer service by representing the company professionally during delivery interactions and addressing customer inquiries or concerns. This is a Non CDL Position, you must pass a background and a Drug Test. Qualifications Proven experience as a delivery driver, courier, or in warehouse operations involving material handling and moving. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience driving box trucks, commercial trucks, or vans preferred. Knowledge of traffic laws and adherence to DOT regulations for commercial vehicle operation. Ability to handle manual transmission vehicles and operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks. Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and manual handling tasks; committed to safe lifting practices. Familiarity with route driving using mobile devices for navigation and communication. Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude during all delivery interactions.
