Your driving skills, manual handling expertise, and commitment to safety will help us deliver a seamless experience from our warehouse to our customers' homes. Responsibilities Safely operate box trucks to deliver and setup furniture items to residential homes. Loas and unload products using manual handling techniques and material handling equipment such as pallet jacks or dollies. Follow planned delivery routes using mobile devices or GPS systems, adhering strictly to traffic regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards. Ensure accurate documentation of deliveries, including signatures and delivery logs. Provide excellent customer service by assisting with product placement, answering questions, and ensuring customer satisfaction upon delivery. Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to maintain safety standards and report any issues promptly. Maintain warehouse operations by assisting with inventory management, material handling, and supporting team members with moving or storage tasks when needed. Qualifications Proven delivery driver experience with a strong focus on furniture or large-item transportation preferred. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience driving box trucks, commercial trucks, or vans is highly desirable. Warehouse experience including material handling equipment operation such as pallet jacks or carts. Knowledge of traffic laws, DOT regulations, and safe lifting practices to ensure safety for yourself and others. Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and professional demeanor.
