What you'll do Load your vehicle at the assigned pickup point and deliver packages along a set route Scan packages and capture delivery confirmation using a company-provided app on your smartphone and company-provided scanner Place packages safely and out of the weather; follow delivery instructions at each stop Handle rural addresses, county roads, ranch gates, and long driveways — this is not city delivery Communicate with dispatch about delays, weather, road conditions, or access problems Return undeliverable packages and complete end-of-day paperwork Keep your vehicle clean, road-ready, and safe to operate Your vehicle You will use your own vehicle. We prefer an SUV or minivan — cargo space is what makes the day work. Reliable and in safe operating condition, with current Texas registration and inspection Enough cargo capacity to carry a full route's packages, with seats folded if needed Enclosed cargo area (an open pickup bed will not work — packages must stay dry) Air conditioning that works, because this is Texas The vehicle model year is be no older than 15 years. You maintain personal auto insurance. What we require 21 or older with a valid Texas driver's license At least one year of licensed driving experience Clean motor vehicle record — we pull an MVR and review it before hire Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and E-Verify Smartphone with a current data plan Ability to lift up to 150 lbs regularly Comfortable working outdoors in heat, cold, rain, and wind Live in or near Mason, Junction, San Saba, or Cherokee , or be willing to drive to one of those towns to start your day No CDL and no DOT medical card required — these are light vehicles under 10,001 lbs. What we look for You know the back roads, or you learn them fast You show up. Rural routes depend on one person, and there is no one else on that road that day.
