Walker Delivery Associate - People Now Logistics Inc.

Location:

5801 Columbia Park Rd, Hyattsville, MD 20785. Deliver smiles on foot — no driving required We're hiring dependable, energetic Walker Delivery Associates to hand-deliver Amazon packages in some of D.C.'s most walkable neighborhoods — Georgetown, Adams Morgan, Columbia Heights, Cleveland Park, Chevy Chase, and surrounding neighborhoods. You'll work outdoors, stay active, and be the friendly face customers see at their door. No car and no driver's license needed. We are making on-the-spot job offers! (All offers are contingent on meeting eligibility requirements.) What you'll do Report each day to your assigned anchor point (a curbside dispatch hub) reachable by public transportation. Pick up your assigned packages from the box truck stationed at the anchor point. Deliver packages on foot using a hand cart within a 5-10 block radius — nearby homes, apartments, and offices. Use a smartphone app for routing and delivery information. Return to the anchor point to refill your cart and take on additional routes throughout your shift. Follow company instructions to close out your shift once your route is complete. What you need At least 18 years old with a valid State ID or passport (a driver's license is NOT required). Able to walk and work within a 5-10 block radius in varying weather conditions (we operate rain or shine unless the station calls a stop). Able to move boxes up to 50 lbs, with or without reasonable accommodation. Willing to consent to a drug screening. Good communication skills and a customer-first attitude. Able to receive text messages from managers about your schedule and shifts on your personal cell phone. Able to commute reliably to the assigned anchor point each day. Onboarding & training Onboarding is completed electronically.

Paid Walker training:

one 8-hour physical training day, followed by an on-road (ORE) walk-along with a certified trainer. This role is ideal for someone who is Dependable — more reliable than spontaneous. People-oriented — enjoys interacting with customers and working as part of a team. Active — enjoys being on their feet and outdoors rather than at a desk. Schedule & pay
