KR Transport LLC is looking for experienced Part-Time CDL-A Drivers for food-grade tanker work based out of our Berlin, WI terminal. We currently have openings for both consistent weekend drivers and flexible fill-in drivers. Our greatest need is dependable weekend coverage. Occasional weekday opportunities are available to cover vacations, scheduled time off, and increased freight volume, but we are NOT currently hiring for dedicated weekday-only part-time positions.

PAY & SCHEDULE

Pay ranges from $250

• 400 per day depending on the route and day worked Weekday fill-in routes typically gross $250
• 350 per day Weekend routes include premium pay and typically gross $300
• 400 per day Most routes are approximately 10-14 hours Home daily
• all shifts report to and return to our Berlin, WI terminal Start times vary by route, with both earlier and later start times available We will do our best to match available routes with your preferred start times and availability

WEEKEND DRIVERS

Work 1 or 2 days every weekend OR 1 or 2 days every other weekend We understand everyone needs time off and you are not locked into every weekend We simply ask for advance notice, preferably by Monday or Tuesday, when you need an upcoming weekend off so we can arrange coverage

FLEXIBLE FILL-IN DRIVERS

No minimum schedule Work when you're available and we have work available Help cover vacations, additional freight, and other scheduling needs Occasional weekday opportunities may be available No dedicated weekday-only part-time positions are currently available

MAP-21 AGRICULTURAL EXEMPTION

All work performed for KR Transport operates under the MAP-21 Agricultural Exemption and is ELD exempt. Hours worked for KR Transport do not count toward your hours of service, making this a great opportunity to work while completing your 34-hour reset.

TYPE OF WORK

All current openings are food-grade tanker work and may include: Direct ship milk hauling Plant-to-plant transportation Plant-to-farm transportation Farm milk pickup opportunities are available for drivers interested in that work but are NOT required for any of our current part-time openings. No prior milk hauling experience is required. We are willing to train experienced CDL-A drivers who have the right attitude, strong work ethic, and take pride in their equipment.

EQUIPMENT

Late-model, premium-spec Kenworth equipment Food-grade tanker trailers Equipment maintained by our in-house maintenance team Part-time drivers slip-seat and operate the equipment assigned to their route We take pride in our equipment and are looking for drivers who do the same. Drivers are expected to help keep their assigned truck and trailer clean, including washing equipment while loading or unloading when time allows.

REQUIREMENTS

Valid Class A CDL Tanker endorsement Minimum 2 years of CDL-A experience preferred Manual transmission experience with the ability to properly float gears and shift Acceptable driving record Strong commitment to safety, reliability, and customer service Ability to reliably report to our Berlin, WI terminal for every scheduled shift

LOCATION / COMMUTE

This is a home-daily position that starts and ends at our Berlin, WI terminal. Many shifts are approximately 10-14 hours, so this position is best suited for drivers who live within approximately 45 minutes of Berlin.
