Starting at $15.00 per hour About the job LifeCare Transport is a locally owned non-emergency medical transportation company based in Fort Atkinson. We get people to dialysis, doctor's appointments, therapy, and back home again — safely and on time. We're adding a part-time driver to our Fort Atkinson team, three days a week, driving one of our wheelchair-accessible minivans. This is a good fit if you want steady part-time hours on a schedule you pick and you actually like people. Many of our riders are elderly or living with disabilities, and for some of them you'll be the friendliest face they see all day. What you'll do Drive a company-provided wheelchair-accessible minivan on scheduled routes in and around Jefferson County and the surrounding area Assist riders in and out of the vehicle, including operating the wheelchair ramp and properly securing wheelchairs with the four-point tie-down system (we train you) Provide door-to-door and door-through-door assistance as needed Complete trip paperwork and confirm trips in our dispatch app Keep the van clean, fueled, and ready for the next shift Communicate with dispatch about delays, no-shows, and schedule changes What we're looking for Valid Wisconsin driver's license with a clean driving record 23 years of age or older (insurance requirement) Comfortable and willing to transport wheelchair passengers — this is a core part of the job, not optional Able to push a loaded wheelchair, operate a ramp, and bend/kneel to secure tie-downs Reliable, on time, and patient — our riders are counting on you Clear communicator, comfortable using a smartphone app Must pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen Prior NEMT, CNA, caregiver, or transportation experience is a plus but not required — we train the right person What you get Starting pay of $15.00 per hour You pick your 3 days — build the schedule around your life, not the other way around Weekday daytime hours, no nights, no weekends 3% IRA match — yes, for part-time employees too Paid training, including wheelchair securement and passenger assistance Company vehicle — you're never using your own car or gas Small, local team where the owner knows your name Opportunity to pick up extra days when you want them How to apply Apply on Indeed or call/text 920-397-7624.
