Plymouth Furniture is looking for a part time furniture and appliance delivery person. We need someone to work some Saturdays 8-1 and some 9am to 4pm shifts Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities:

• Safely and efficiently operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods to customers
• Load and unload products from the vehicle, ensuring proper handling and securing of items
• Follow delivery schedules and routes to ensure timely and accurate deliveries
• Provide exceptional customer service by communicating with customers in a professional and friendly manner
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including any discrepancies or issues that may arise
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while operating the vehicle
• Perform basic vehicle maintenance tasks, such as checking oil levels and tire pressure

Requirements:

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members
• Physical fitness to handle heavy lifting and loading/unloading of products
• Knowledge of warehouse operations and procedures is beneficial
• Commercial driving experience is an advantage
• Able to work at least two days per week.
