Job Summary We are seeking a dependable, skilled Personal Assistant / Skilled Tradesman to provide personal support while assisting with the maintenance, operation, and improvement of multiple properties. This is a hands-on position that combines professional driving, property maintenance, carpentry, project coordination, and general support. The ideal candidate is trustworthy, organized, mechanically inclined, and comfortable wearing many hats. One day may involve chauffeuring to meetings or on extended trips, while the next may include managing contractors, completing carpentry projects, maintaining equipment, or overseeing property improvements. Key Responsibilities Provide safe, professional chauffeur services for local and out-of-town travel. Maintain a valid chauffeur's license and an excellent driving record. Clean, inspect, fuel, and maintain all assigned vehicles to ensure they are safe and presentation-ready. Perform carpentry, repairs, and general maintenance on homes, buildings, docks, and other property structures. Assist with remodeling, construction, and improvement projects. Coordinate and oversee vendors, contractors, and maintenance personnel as needed. Manage ongoing maintenance schedules for multiple properties, ensuring all facilities remain in excellent condition. Operate and maintain tools and equipment safely. Assist with and manage landscaping, grounds maintenance, and seasonal property preparation. Run errands, purchase supplies, and transport materials and equipment. Help organize and maintain workshops, storage buildings, and equipment. Assist with special projects and provide general personal assistance as needed. Maintain confidentiality and exercise professionalism in all aspects of the role. QualificationsRequired Valid driver's license with the ability to obtain or maintain a Chauffeur's License (or current Chauffeur's License, if required by state law). Excellent driving record. Proven experience in carpentry, construction, or skilled property maintenance. Strong mechanical aptitude and experience using power and hand tools. Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform physically demanding work. Strong organizational and communication skills. Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and adapt to changing needs. High level of integrity, discretion, and professionalism. Preferred Forklift certification. Experience operating a skid steer. Experience operating an excavator. Experience towing trailers and transporting equipment. Knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, or welding. Experience managing vendors or coordinating property maintenance projects. Boating or outdoor property maintenance experience is a plus.
