Job Description

365 Freight USA offers a paid CDL‑A trainee program based in Hartselle, AL, providing recent graduates with structured on‑the‑job experience under the guidance of an experienced mentor. The program includes paid training, a defined path to solo status, and a competitive compensation package upon upgrade. Compensation and training 4‑week paid mentorship: Paid, one‑on‑one training with an experienced mentor.
Solo pay after upgrade:
$0.55 per mile; typical weekly mileage averages 2,500 miles (approximately $1,375-$1,550 per week), plus safety and performance bonuses. $1,000 sign‑on bonus payable after upgrade; $500 performance bonus at 90 days post‑upgrade. Mileage pay increases at 3, 6 and 12 months following training completion. Tuition reimbursement up to $5,000 for CDL school (terms and eligibility apply). Program highlights Structured one‑on‑one training curriculum covering trip planning, safe vehicle operation, hours‑of‑service compliance, time management, and customer service. Assigned late‑model, technology‑enabled tractor following solo upgrade to support safety and driver comfort. Mentor program with formal evaluation milestones and recognition for top performers. Options to transfer to dedicated or regional lanes within approximately nine months, subject to performance and business needs. Rider and pet policy available after six months of service, subject to company policy. Primary responsibilities Operate commercial motor vehicles safely and in accordance with assigned routes and schedules. Complete pre‑trip and post‑trip vehicle inspections and required driver logs accurately. Adhere to DOT regulations, company policies, and hours‑of‑service requirements. Follow mentor instruction during the training period and demonstrate progressive proficiency to qualify for solo operations. Maintain professional communication with dispatch, customers, and company personnel. Minimum qualifications Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL‑A). No prior over‑the‑road experience required; recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
