Job Description

CDL A Hopper Bottom Truck Driver - Home Every Night Join our team as a CDL A Hopper Bottom Truck Driver and enjoy competitive, percentage-based pay while being home every night. We are looking for a dependable, safety-minded professional with experience operating commercial trucks and a strong commitment to safe and reliable service. This position is ideal for a driver who wants the earning potential of percentage-based pay without being away from home for days at a time. Duties Safely operate a tractor-trailer equipped with a hopper-bottom trailer Haul and deliver loads on local and regional routes Be home every night Earn a percentage of the truck's gross revenue Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections Safely transport and secure loads Follow all DOT, FMCSA, and company safety regulations Maintain accurate driving logs, delivery tickets, and required documentation Communicate with dispatch regarding loads, routes, pickup and delivery schedules, and any issues Keep the truck and equipment clean and properly maintained Report mechanical issues or safety concerns promptly Provide professional and courteous service at pickup and delivery locations Minimum Qualifications Valid Class A CDL Minimum of 3 years of commercial truck driving experience Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) Must pass a pre-employment drug screen Previous hopper-bottom experience preferred Ability to safely operate a manual or automatic transmission Dependable, punctual, and safety-minded Strong understanding of DOT regulations and safe driving practices Ability to perform required pre-trip and post-trip inspections Professional communication skills and a positive attitude What We Offer Home every night Percentage-based pay — earn a percentage of what the truck makes Local and regional routes Consistent work Opportunity for steady, dependable income Supportive dispatch and management team If you're an experienced CDL A driver looking for good earning potential without sacrificing your evenings at home, we'd like to hear from you.
