TH Barstow Community College is an open-access, comprehensive two-year institution serving a diverse student population in the Mojave region of San Bernardino County, California. An Athletics Driver performs the task of safely transporting students, faculty, staff and school representatives to and from school functions/events.
Responsibilities:
Operate the assigned District Vehicles in a safe and efficient way according to all relevant legislation, policies and procedures, including BCC Driver Policy Perform pre-trip safety checks Maintain order within van while driving Work in conjunction with coach/teacher/supervising staff member to verify passenger attendance to and from each destination Ensure passengers are aware of rules and responsibilities Be on time to and from events, transporting on schedule Clean out vehicle and ensure it is safely and securely stored Advise coach/teacher/supervising staff member of any necessary maintenance or repairs Maintain vehicle logs as required Act quickly and exercise independent, mature judgment Perform other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS
High School Diploma Possess a Class C Driver's License Possess a
Clean Driving Record Preferred:
Possess a Commercial Driver License, Class B with P endorsement This position is a Short-Term Project working up to a max of 30 hours per week.
