In this role, you will operate vans with enthusiasm and professionalism, providing a positive experience for young passengers while adhering to all safety standards. Your dedication will help foster a secure environment where students feel comfortable and cared for during their daily commute. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of students and their families. Responsibilities Safely operate vans, ensuring timely pick-up and drop-off of students according to designated routes and schedules Follow all traffic laws, vehicle codes, and transportation safety regulations to maintain a secure environment for passengers and pedestrians Maintain clear communication with school staff, parents, and emergency responders as needed to coordinate safe transportation Manage student behavior using positive discipline techniques and behavior management strategies to promote a respectful environment Respond quickly to traffic changes or unexpected delays, adjusting routes efficiently while prioritizing passenger safety Qualifications Knowledge of traffic laws, emergency response procedures for transportation, and transportation safety regulations Experience working with children or in environments requiring behavior management and student discipline skills Certifications in first aid and CPR are highly desirable to ensure passenger safety during emergencies Strong communication skills, quick response abilities, and a professional attitude are essential for success in this role
Pay:
$19.00 - $21.00 per hour Expected hours: 8.0 - 10.0 per week
