What You'll Do As a Companion Driver, you'll provide a safe, comfortable, and supportive transportation experience.

Responsibilities may include:

Picking up and transporting riders to scheduled destinations Providing Door-Through-Door assistance when needed Offering support as riders enter or exit the vehicle Assisting riders with mobility aids such as foldable walkers or wheelchairs Helping riders safely navigate stairs, curbs, and other obstacles when appropriate Providing friendly, respectful, and compassionate service Communicating clearly with riders and the Onward team Maintaining a safe and professional driving environment This is not an on-demand rideshare position. You won't spend your day driving around waiting for random ride requests. Your rides are scheduled in advance, helping you better plan your time. What We're Looking For We're looking for drivers who are: Friendly, compassionate, and genuinely enjoy helping others Patient, reliable, and dependable Comfortable assisting older adults and individuals with mild mobility challenges Professional and able to communicate effectively with riders Safety-conscious and committed to providing excellent service Available primarily on weekdays Willing to accept early morning, evening, or weekend rides when available (a plus, but not required) Driver Requirements Must own a 2016 or newer vehicle Must have a clean driving record Must successfully complete a background check Must have a valid driver's license and required vehicle documentation Must have a reliable vehicle that meets Onward's requirements Why Drive With Onward?
