TransForce Inc. is hiring a CDL A Utility Driver to support safe, efficient transportation operations for our clients. In this role, you will operate tractor trailers and other commercial vehicles to move freight between customer locations, yards, and terminals while complying with DOT and company safety standards. Responsibilities include performing pre and post trip inspections, securing loads, completing logs and paperwork accurately, and communicating with dispatch. You may cover different routes, shifts, or equipment types as needed, providing flexible support. Responsibilities Safely operate CDL A commercial vehicles, including tractor trailers and related equipment Transport freight between customer locations, yards, and terminals on assigned routes Perform required pre trip and post trip vehicle inspections and document findings Secure loads properly to prevent shifting, damage, or safety hazards in transit Maintain accurate driver logs, trip reports, and required DOT/compliance paperwork Follow all DOT, FMCSA, and company safety policies and procedures Communicate clearly with dispatch and operations regarding routes, delays, and issues Adapt to varying routes, shifts, and equipment types as a utility/floater driver Report vehicle defects or maintenance needs promptly to appropriate personnel Provide professional, courteous customer service at pickup and delivery locations Required Skills CDL Class A driving Defensive driving and safety practices
