Duties Safely operate delivery vehicles, including box trucks and personal vehicles, to transport bakery products to various locations Load and unload goods efficiently using manual handling techniques and material handling equipment such as pallet jacks or dollies Follow designated routes accurately, managing delivery schedules to ensure prompt arrivals Adhere strictly to traffic laws, DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations, and safe driving practices at all times Communicate effectively with customers, providing friendly service and addressing any delivery inquiries or concerns Complete delivery documentation accurately, including logs for load & unload activities and route records Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform routine safety checks before and after each shift Requirements Proven experience in delivery driving, courier services, or warehouse operations involving moving heavy loads Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience with commercial truck driving or van driving preferred Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles and material handling equipment such as pallet jacks Strong knowledge of safe lifting practices for manual handling and heavy lifting tasks Familiarity with warehouse operations, including loading/unloading procedures and inventory management Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude and clear communication abilities Ability to adhere to DOT regulations, traffic laws, and workplace safety standards related to weight handling in the workplace Comfortable using mobile devices for route navigation, delivery updates, and communication Join us as a Bakery Driver and bring your energy, precision, and customer-first mindset to deliver happiness through fresh baked goods!
