Full Job Description Now Hiring:
Independent NEMT Driver We are looking for dependable, professional, and responsible drivers to join our Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) team as independent contractors. As an NEMT driver, you will transport members safely and professionally to and from medical appointments. We are looking for drivers who are punctual, communicate well with dispatch, and provide excellent customer service. Service Areas We are currently hiring drivers to provide transportation throughout: Riverside County San Bernardino County Drivers may receive trips within and between these counties. Availability for longer-distance trips is a plus. Requirements Must have a valid California Driver's License. Must be able to pass required background checks and credentialing requirements. Must operate as an independent contractor (1099) and meet applicable business/DBA requirements. Must have a working smartphone and be able to use mobile dispatch and GPS applications. Monday through Friday availability preferred. Must be dependable, punctual, and professional. Responsibilities Safely transport members to and from medical appointments. Provide courteous, respectful, and professional service. Arrive on time for scheduled pickups and drop-offs. Maintain clear communication with dispatch regarding trips, delays, cancellations, and schedule updates. Accurately complete required trip documentation through the dispatch application. Keep your vehicle clean, safe, and presentable at all times. Follow all company, broker, and transportation safety requirements. Compensation & Pay Schedule This is an independent contractor (1099) opportunity. Contractors are paid twice per month: Work completed from the 1st through the 15th → Paid on the 22nd of the same month. Work completed from the 16th through the last day of the month → Paid on the 7th of the following month.
Example:
Work September 1-15 and get paid September 22. Work September 16-30 and get paid October 7. Consistent routes and additional trip opportunities may be available based on demand, availability, reliability, and performance.
