Job Summary:

As a Retail Delivery Team Member at Florida Fresh Events, your primary responsibility is to ensure efficient and timely delivery of our beautiful floral and basket arrangements to our valued customers. You will play a crucial role in maintaining our reputation for exceptional customer service and satisfaction.

Essential Job Functions:

Safely operate delivery vehicles and adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while ensuring the secure transportation of floral arrangements. Utilize GPS for navigation, but responsibly and not while the vehicle is in motion. Understand and interpret delivery manifests, ensuring that all scheduled deliveries are fulfilled accurately and promptly. Obtain signatures from customers upon delivery to ensure order confirmation and completion, maintaining a high level of professionalism and customer service. Familiarize yourself with and abide by Florida Fresh Floral's operation procedures to ensure smooth and efficient delivery processes. Keep a vigilant eye on the delivery vehicle's maintenance requirements and promptly inform the manager when service or repairs are needed. Comply with the company's strict

policy inside all company vehicles to maintain a clean and pleasant environment for customers. Demonstrate a commitment to excellence by diligently following through with all assigned tasks, both delivery-related and warehouse duties. Attend all required store meetings to stay informed about updates, changes, and improvements to delivery procedures and overall warehouse operations. Be available for extra hours and flexible scheduling during major holidays when delivery demands are at their peak. Actively participate in all routing and deliveries during major floral holidays to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment. Assist with warehouse maintenance tasks, including basic housekeeping, mopping, sweeping, cleaning, and proper care and handling of floral products when not actively engaged in deliveries.

Essential Qualifications:

High School graduate or equivalent Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Excellent knowledge of traffic laws and regulations. Knowledge of Walt Disney World property is preferred, not required. Ability to use GPS navigation systems responsibly. Clear verbal and written communication skills for interacting with customers, and team members Maintain a presentable, professional, and clean appearance at all times to uphold the company's image and create a positive impression on clients and colleagues. Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret delivery manifests accurately. Customer-oriented with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to handle physical tasks, including lifting and moving floral arrangements. Excellent time management skills and the ability to work efficiently under pressure. A positive attitude and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. Willingness to work flexible hours, morning, and evening, including holidays and weekends.

Essential Physical Requirements:

Must be physically able to do assigned work as outlined above. Must be physically capable of lifting and carrying objects weighing up to 25 pounds Extended periods of standing and walking are required for delivering floral products and performing warehouse maintenance duties. Capability to bend, reach, and stoop to access delivery items, load/unload the delivery van, and perform warehouse maintenance tasks. Willingness to work outdoors, exposed to various weather conditions, while making deliveries.
