Recycling Specialist Customer Compliance Specialist $25.00 Hour

Monday to Friday ( Possible Sat on Occasion) 8:30AM to 5:00PM Must have ability to communicate with all customers ( Bilingual) English and Spanish speaking. Must be able to complete Background and Drug Screenings. Must have Valid State of Florida Drivers License.

Customer Compliance Specialist job responsibilities:

1. Become subject matter expert regarding all Collier County Solid Waste Services to allow for accurate education to residential and commercial customers . Face to face contact with residents providing education concerning collection guidelines and leaving material when patrols or complaints identify out of compliance items curbside, irrigation outside allowed times, accumulation of litter, etc. . Detailed documentation of ALL activities and interactions with customer into County database. . Must be computer literate, those with typing skills will be given preference. . Follow compliance enforcement guidelines when case escalate requiring legal code enforcement . Present and testify before the special magistrate if compliance is not achieved with education . Respond to and create reports for hauler issues--Truck Fires, Liquid Spills, Property Damages . Respond professionally to customer inquiries and complaints regarding Solid Waste Collection . Educate and enforce regulations relative to Collier County Water Ordinance (Illegal connections, Device Tampering, Meter Obstructions, Etc..) . Work using emotional intelligence, taking customer venting even when seemingly aimed at staff, apologizing even when customer is wrong, referring all unresolvable situations to supervisor. , Work well on your own in truck, without direct supervision showing productive time management. Vehicles are GPS and non-productivity is not tolerated. . Be able lift 50lbs, will be asked to pick up litter or collect items from curbside to a drop off center. #FTM
