PODS is hiring a Local Class B CDL Driver to safely deliver and pick up portable storage containers for residential and commercial customers. In this on-the-road role, you'll operate a Class B truck on local routes, perform pre- and post-trip inspections, secure loads, and ensure containers are placed correctly and safely. You'll be the face of PODS, providing friendly, professional service while solving on-site challenges. Responsibilities Safely operate a Class B commercial vehicle to deliver and pick up PODS containers locally Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs Secure containers and loads using proper equipment and safety procedures Provide professional, courteous service to residential and commercial customers on-site Follow assigned routes and schedules while complying with DOT and company policies Complete required delivery documentation and use onboard/handheld technology Maintain clean, organized vehicle and represent PODS brand standards Collaborate with dispatch and team members to resolve on-road or customer issues Required Skills Local truck driving Class B CDL operation Defensive driving and safety compliance DOT regulations knowledge Vehicle inspection and basic maintenance Operation of lift gates and tie-downs Route planning and time management Customer service and communication Electronic logging devices (ELDs) Handling bills of lading and delivery documentation
