This role involves operating commercial vehicles to transport goods across various routes, including regional, local, and dedicated lanes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining safety and compliance with all transportation regulations. Responsibilities Operate CDL Class A or B vehicles to transport goods efficiently across assigned routes. Drive regional, local, and dedicated lanes as required, ensuring timely pickups and deliveries. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and proper functioning. Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel usage, and delivery documentation. Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies during operations. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered on the road. Ensure cargo is secured properly and handle goods with care during loading and unloading processes. Maintain a clean and well-maintained vehicle to uphold safety standards. Requirements Valid CDL Class A or B license with a clean driving record. Proven experience operating commercial vehicles in a similar setting preferred. Ability to drive regionally, locally, and on dedicated lanes as part of daily operations. Strong knowledge of traffic laws, safety regulations, and DOT requirements. Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet tight schedules. Good communication skills for effective coordination with team members and clients.
