In this role, you'll position trailers at docks, support shipping and receiving, and complete pre/post-trip inspections. You'll communicate with dispatch and warehouse teams to meet production schedules and maintain accurate move logs. The position requires strict adherence to safety, food safety, and company procedures. Responsibilities Safely move trailers and containers within the yard and between dock doors Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on yard tractors and trailers Follow all safety, DOT, and food safety procedures and site policies Coordinate trailer moves with shipping, receiving, and production teams Maintain accurate logs of trailer moves and equipment issues Report maintenance needs and equipment defects promptly Assist with staging and organizing trailers to support production schedules Operate yard truck and related equipment in varying weather conditions Required Skills CDL Class A driving Yard truck operation Trailer spotting and docking Vehicle inspection and documentation Knowledge of DOT regulations Warehouse and logistics coordination Radio and dispatch communication Basic mechanical awareness Time management Safety and food safety compliance
