Sharp Transportation Inc, a family-owned carrier based in Logan, UT, seeks a CDL A Truck Driver for regional and long-haul freight across the West. Operate late-model, well-maintained equipment with a strong safety-first focus. Responsibilities include on-time pickup and delivery, daily vehicle inspections, accurate logs using ELDs, and proper freight securement. Responsibilities Safely operate CDL A tractor-trailer for regional and long-haul freight across Western states Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections to ensure equipment safety and compliance Use ELD systems to maintain accurate hours-of-service logs and required DOT documentation Load, secure, and unload freight as needed, ensuring product integrity and safety Follow FMCSA, DOT, and company safety policies at all times Plan routes to maximize on-time pickup and delivery while managing hours of service Communicate promptly and professionally with dispatch, customers, and shop personnel Report maintenance needs and mechanical issues to keep equipment in top condition Represent Sharp Transportation Inc with professionalism at shipper and receiver locations Contribute to a respectful, team-oriented, family culture focused on long-term relationships Required Skills CDL A truck operation Trip planning and routing
