Job Description

HPC Industrial powered by Clean Harbors is seeking a Class A or B CDL Driver/Equipment Operator to support environmental projects within our Transportation & Logistics team. In this field-based role, you will safely operate CDL vehicles, vacuum trucks, and other industrial cleaning equipment at energy, petrochemical, and industrial facilities. Responsibilities include transporting materials and waste, performing industrial cleaning, completing pre/post-trip inspections, and strictly following OSHA, DOT, and company safety procedures. You'll work in a safety-first, team-oriented culture with strong training, advancement potential, and exposure to major industrial clients. Responsibilities Safely operate Class A or B CDL vehicles to transport equipment, materials, and waste to and from industrial client sites. Operate vacuum trucks, hydroblasting units, and related environmental equipment for cleaning and decontamination tasks. Perform pre- and post-trip inspections, routine maintenance checks, and report mechanical issues promptly. Follow all HPC Industrial and client safety procedures, including use of PPE and adherence to OSHA and DOT regulations. Assist project teams with set-up, operation, and breakdown of equipment in refineries, plants, and industrial facilities. Complete required field documentation, logs, and tickets accurately and on time. Communicate effectively with dispatch, supervisors, and crew members to meet schedules and client requirements. Work in varying weather and demanding field conditions, including overtime, weekends, and travel as needed. Required Skills Class A or B CDL driving Safe operation of vacuum trucks and hydroblasting units Hazardous waste handling and transfer Pre/post-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance Knowledge of DOT and OSHA regulations Load securement and backing skills Confined space and high-angle awareness Reading work orders and service tickets Use of PPE and decontamination procedures Basic field documentation and timekeeping
