Full-Time Join Our Team Rehkemper & Son, Inc. is seeking a dependable and safety-focused Class A CDL Driver to deliver roof trusses, floor trusses, wall panels, and building materials to commercial and residential job sites throughout the Midwest. This position is ideal for a professional driver who takes pride in customer service, safe operation, and representing a quality-driven company. Responsibilities Safely transport and deliver trusses, wall panels, lumber packages, and related building materials. Secure loads and inspect cargo to ensure safe transportation. Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections. Operate truck-mounted equipment and assist in unloading materials when required. Communicate with dispatch, customers, and jobsite personnel regarding delivery schedules. Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs. Follow all DOT regulations, company policies, and safety procedures. Represent Rehkemper & Son professionally at customer locations. Qualifications Valid Class A CDL license. Acceptable driving record and ability to pass DOT drug screening. Ability to safely operate tractor-trailers hauling oversized building components. Strong attention to safety and detail. Dependable work ethic and positive attitude. Forklift experience is a plus but not required. Previous experience delivering construction materials, trusses, wall panels, or lumber is preferred. Physical Requirements Ability to lift, carry, and move materials as needed. Ability to climb onto trailers and secure loads. Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions. Ability to meet DOT physical requirements.
