Job Description

Join our team as we have a rare opening at our Ironton Location! AutoSmith is hiring a Tow Truck Operator for our Ironton/Deerwood location. We're a locally-owned company with locations in Ironton, Brainerd, Aitkin, Motley, and McGregor, offering full-service automotive & diesel repair and towing. We have a clean, modern fleet and steady, year-round work with room to grow!

Position Details:

Schedule:

Monday-Friday, 8 AM-5 PM + on-call rotation

Location:

Must live within 5-10 minutes of our Ironton or Deerwood shop

What You'll Do:

Operate various light & medium-duty tow trucks Perform vehicle recovery, towing, roadside assistance (lockouts, jump starts, tire changes) Work with 24/7 dispatchers for efficient job assignments Be available for extra shifts during winter weather conditions Deliver professional, courteous customer service in all situations

What You Need:

Valid driver's license (CDL helpful but not required) Clean driving record & ability to pass background check Positive attitude & strong work ethic Tow truck experience preferred but willing to train the right person
