Responsibilities and Qualifications Responsible for transporting and setting up funeral equipment at services, cemeteries, and related locations. Duties include driving service vehicles, setup of chairs, tents, and other items, and ensuring respectful, professional presence during services. Maintains vehicles and equipment, follows safety and decorum standards, and provides courteous support to grieving families and guests. This position also requires filling downtime with assisting in the manufacturing area.
Key Responsibilities:
Drive service vehicle to transport funeral equipment Set up chairs, tents, and other equipment at funeral or graveside locations Assist with moving caskets and floral arrangements as directed Maintain clean and service-ready vehicles and equipment Follow all safety, confidentiality, and etiquette standards during services Support funeral directors and staff as needed during services Understanding of concrete manufacturing helpful
Qualifications:
Valid driver's license and clean driving record Must pass drug test and physical Ability to lift and move heavy objects (90+ lbs) Professional demeanor and appearance Sensitivity and respect for grieving families Prior funeral or service setup experience preferred but not required Must be team player, picking up rotating shifts on weekends (1.5x wage Saturdays, Double Sundays) and work on the floor when needed Do you have excellent communication skills? Are you able to work well both independently and as part of a team? Can you effectively prioritize tasks while demonstrating good time management? Are you punctual and dependable? Can you maintain a friendly and professional demeanor? If yes, you might be perfect for this driving position. This full-time transportation position typically works first shift from Monday to Friday with some availability on Saturdays. Location 513 East 7th Street Morris, MN 56267
