United Packaging Inc is hiring a Class A Local Regional Driver CDL Class A Local Driver - Job Description We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused CDL Class A Local Driver to transport freight safely and efficiently within designated local routes. The ideal candidate will have a valid Class A CDL, a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to provide professional customer service. This position offers daily home time and consistent local deliveries.

Responsibilities:

Operate Class A tractor-trailers safely and efficiently on local routes. Perform pre-trip, post-trip, and routine vehicle inspections. Transport and deliver freight in a timely manner while following scheduled routes. Secure loads properly and verify shipment accuracy. Maintain compliance with DOT regulations and company safety policies. Complete required paperwork, electronic logs, and delivery documentation. Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and warehouse personnel. Report vehicle maintenance issues and safety concerns promptly. Ensure cargo is loaded, transported, and unloaded safely. Maintain a clean and professional appearance while representing the company.

Qualifications:

Valid CDL Class A license. Clean driving record and current DOT medical certification. Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety requirements. Ability to operate tractor-trailers in various weather and traffic conditions. Strong time-management and organizational skills. Excellent communication and customer service abilities. Ability to lift, move, and secure freight as required.

Pay:

$25.00 - $35.00 per hour
