- Full-time Mountain Country Propane in Laurie, MO has an immediate opening for a Bobtail Truck Driver.
This candidate would be responsible for the safe delivery of propane to local customers (home every night). Provide superior customer service and during slow periods, help establish new propane client relationships. The ideal candidate is highly safety-conscious, proficient at providing high-level client service, while handling routed propane deliveries in a timely manner. Candidates must also be mechanically inclined in order to safely perform gas safety checks, ensure that company equipment and tank systems are safe and well-maintained, and be able to facilitate tank installations and other propane related service work. Minimum age of 21 years to get trained to drive a HazMat vehicle. Candidates may have a Class B CDL with airbrake and tanker endorsements and HazMat certifications. Per DOT regulations, a condition of employment includes passing a drug screen, background check and an MVR to check driving record. Candidates must have 2 years of CDL driving experience.
