Responsibilities Safely operate CDL-A tractor-trailer across regional and OTR routes Transport dry van and refrigerated freight with on-time pickup and delivery Conduct thorough pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections Comply with all DOT, FMCSA, and company safety regulations and policies Accurately use ELDs and maintain required driving and log documentation Secure and protect freight to prevent damage and claims Communicate effectively with dispatch, planners, and customers Practice defensive driving and follow company safety standards Care for and report issues with assigned equipment and trailers Represent Crete Carrier professionally at all customer locations Required Skills CDL-A tractor-trailer operation DOT and FMCSA regulation compliance Electronic Logging Device (ELD) use Trip planning and time management Defensive driving Vehicle inspection and basic troubleshooting Cargo securement and load handling Refrigerated trailer operation Customer service and communication Map/GPS navigation and routing
