Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and reliable Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting equipment via lowboy trailer safely and efficiently across various routes. This position requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to handle different types of Materials including but not limited to heavy equipment, rock, pipe, logs, brush etc. Duties Operate a tractor-trailer to transport freight to designated locations. Ensure the safe loading and unloading of cargo, utilizing forklifts when necessary. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in safe operating condition. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of hours driven and mileage. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while on the road. Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise during transit. Handle manual transmission vehicles as required for specific routes or freight types. Requirements Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with appropriate endorsements. Proven experience in truck driving, particularly with tractor-trailers and heavy equipment transportation. Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles effectively. Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in the trucking industry. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for maintaining delivery logs and records. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating reliability and professionalism at all times.
