Job Description

CDL Truck Driver- Local Delivery Thursday, May 6, 2021 We are looking for a driver needed for local feed deliveries. Deliveries are within 150 mile radius of the Statesville, NC area. Home each night. 40-55 hrs/week. Pay is negotiable. Tasks and Responsibilities

Drive and deliver feed to customers of Deal-Rite Feeds.
Deliveries within 150 mile radius of Statesville, NC
Load/unload commodities
Unload feed at the correct location per company standards
50-55 hrs+/week.
Any other tasks as assigned from supervisor

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED
Current CDL
Ability to coordinate mixed loads without cross contamination
Ability to prioritize activities and use available resources to complete required tasks
Ability to communicate effectively with customers.
Ability to deal with a fast-paced environment.
Ability to follow direction
Ability to work varied hours/days as business needs dictate.
Ability to work extra hours as business needs dictate
Must be able to drive a straight truck.
Must possess a valid commercial driver's license.
Must possess a clean driving record.
Must be able to pass an occupational chemical screen upon hire and surprise tests hereafter.
Ability to sit for significant periods of time.
Ability to move merchandise generally weighing anywhere from 0-50 lbs.
Ability to bend, stoop, reach, twist, lift, push, pull and move items.
Ability to communicate with associates and customers.
Drive and work in adverse weather conditions All employees shall be subject to drug testing and background checks.
