Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and dependable Truck Driver to join our dynamic logistics team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating various types of commercial trucks, including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, belt trailers, to transport freight across local, regional, and over-the-road (OTR) routes. Your expertise in driving and cargo handling will ensure timely deliveries while adhering strictly to safety regulations and company standards. Responsibilities Safely operate a variety of commercial trucks such as tractor-trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and refrigerated trailers following all FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards Navigate routes efficiently using GPS navigation systems to ensure timely deliveries across assigned routes Load and unload freight with manual handling equipment like forklifts or roll-off trucks, ensuring cargo is secured properly Transport Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to identify maintenance needs or safety issues before departure and upon return Manage documentation accurately for delivery logs, cargo manifests, and compliance paperwork related to logistics cargo handling Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding route changes, delivery schedules, or any incidents during transit Maintain a professional driving record by adhering to FMCSA regulations, DOT regulations, and safety standards at all times Experience Proven experience in commercial truck driving, including delivery driving on local, regional, or OTR routes Familiarity with refrigerated trailers, flatbed trucks, tanker trucks, dump trucks, roll-off trucks, and other specialized vehicles used in freight transportation Hands-on experience with truck loading/unloading procedures and manual handling techniques Knowledge of route planning using GPS navigation tools for efficient delivery scheduling Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with endorsements relevant to the type of vehicle operated (e.g., Hazmat endorsement if applicable) Understanding of FMCSA regulations, hazardous materials regulations, DOT compliance standards, and safety protocols for transporting dangerous goods Ability to operate manual transmission trucks confidently and handle various types of cargo safely Experience working with logistics cargo handling equipment such as forklifts when necessary for loading or unloading freight Join us as a Truck Driver and become an essential part of our logistics network!
