Job Description
Job Overview This position is short term/temporary (3-6 weeks). Candidate must be local to the Brookings/Gold Beach area. In this role, you will operate heavy-duty dump truck to transport materials across construction sites, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to safety protocols. Duties Safely operate CDL (Commercial Driver's License) dump trucks to transport dirt, gravel, debris, and other construction materials across job sites. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of dump trucks and related equipment, ensuring compliance with equipment safety procedures and federal construction safety regulations. Perform routine maintenance on trucks and machinery, including checking fluid levels, tire conditions, and mechanical components to ensure optimal operation. Follow all safety regulations during equipment operation, including construction site safety protocols and heavy equipment operation standards. Maintain accurate logs of materials transported, hours worked, and equipment used for project documentation. Experience Valid CDL license Experience operating commercial dump trucks in construction environments. Prior work experience in construction utility work or general construction projects will be advantageous.
