Safety-Kleen, a Clean Harbors company, is seeking a Route Salesperson to service industrial, automotive, and commercial customers in Environmental Services. Based in Transportation & Logistics, you will safely operate company vehicles on a set route, deliver and pick up environmental products and waste, and promote recycling and parts-cleaning solutions. This role combines driving, customer service, and sales, focusing on safety, regulatory compliance, and growing business while supporting sustainable waste management programs. Responsibilities Safely operate company route truck to service assigned customer territory Pick up used oil, waste, and recyclable materials in compliance with DOT and environmental regulations Deliver environmental products, parts washers, and related supplies to customers Conduct route-based sales to grow revenue with existing and new customers Perform basic equipment checks, preventive maintenance, and documentation Complete all required manifests, logs, and electronic paperwork accurately Communicate service options, pricing, and environmental programs to customers Maintain a strong safety-first mindset and follow all company policies Coordinate daily schedules with dispatch and logistics teams Represent Safety-Kleen professionally, supporting a culture of integrity and continuous improvement Required Skills Commercial driving and route navigation Knowledge of DOT regulations and hours-of-service rules Safe handling of hazardous and non-hazardous waste Basic sales and account management Customer service and relationship building Use of electronic logs, handhelds, and routing systems Completion of shipping papers, manifests, and regulatory documentation Equipment inspection and basic mechanical troubleshooting Time management and territory planning Understanding of environmental services and recycling solutions
