Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and responsible CDL/Hazmat Driver to join our team. This role involves the safe transportation of hazardous materials while adhering to all safety regulations and company policies. The ideal candidate will possess a valid CDL with Hazmat endorsement and demonstrate a strong commitment to safety, reliability, and professionalism. The driver will be responsible for operating specialized vehicles, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining compliance with federal and state transportation laws. Duties Safely operate commercial vehicles equipped for hazardous materials transportation, ensuring compliance with all DOT and OSHA regulations. Transport hazardous materials to various locations, adhering to scheduled routes and delivery timelines. Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and proper functioning. Involves lifting and pulling hoses over long distances, requiring physical strength and endurance. Follow all safety protocols to prevent accidents or spills during transit. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and team members regarding delivery status or any issues encountered during routes. Ensure proper handling and securement of hazardous materials during transportation. Qualifications Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with Hazmat endorsement required. Proven experience operating commercial vehicles, preferably in hazardous materials transportation. Ability to lift and pull hoses over long distances as part of daily duties. Strong understanding of safety procedures related to hazardous materials handling and transportation. Excellent driving record with a focus on safety and compliance. Physical ability to perform manual tasks such as lifting, pulling hoses, or other equipment related to the job. Good communication skills and the ability to follow detailed instructions. Dependability, punctuality, and a professional attitude are essential for success in this role. Pay:
$20.00 - $23.00 per hour
