Responsibilities Operate commercial heavy vehicles to transport goods to various regional destinations. Ensure strict adherence to route times and delivery schedules. Conduct pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspection of vehicle systems and equipment such as tires, lights, brakes, and cold storage. Maintain accurate logs of driver's hours of service, distance covered, and fuel consumption compliant with state and federal regulations. Communicate effectively with dispatch team to convey updates or receive instructions. Manage documentation related to the cargo, ensuring its safety and integrity throughout the transportation. Comply with all DOT and in-house safety regulations and standards. Required Skills Proficiency in operating a commercial heavy vehicle. Strong navigational and route management abilities.
