Required Qualifications Lab Assistant:

($9.00) Must be a Physics Major in good academic standing during the time of employment. May be another major if approved by the professor you will be working with.

Tutor:

($10.00) Must be a current Physics Major in good academic standing during the time of employment. Must have approval from Physics Tutoring Supervisor. Students tutoring must have received a B+ or higher in the course(s) tutoring. Must be referred by the faculty in the department. Must complete 3 required clearances (PA Criminal Background, Child Abuse History, and FBI Fingerprints) Driver for Dept.

Field Trips:

($9.00) Recommendation of the supervising professor. Valid driver's license. Successful completion of driver's license background checks through Hire Right. Preferred Qualifications Driver for Dept.

Field Trips:

Physics Major or registered for the class taking the field trip.

Job Duties Lab Assistant:

($9.00) Scanning/copying documents. Taking class attendance. Organizing materials for large classes for professors. Lab cleaning/assisting.

Tutor:

($10.00) Attend Tutoring/Peer Learning hours and assist students as needed. Driver for Dept.

Field Trips:

($9.00) Safely transporting students to field trip destinations and back using university vehicles.
