Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and dependable Oilfield Truck Driver to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating heavy-duty trucks to transport equipment, materials, and hazardous goods across various over-the-road (OTR) routes within the oilfield industry. Your expertise in commercial truck driving, adherence to safety regulations, and ability to manage logistics cargo handling will ensure timely deliveries and efficient operations. Responsibilities Safely operate tractor-trailers, flatbeds, tankers, refrigerated trailers, and specialized equipment for transporting freight and hazardous materials. Navigate complex routes using GPS navigation systems to ensure on-time deliveries across OTR routes. Load and unload cargo with manual handling techniques, ensuring proper securing of loads according to FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations. Comply with all DOT (Department of Transportation), Hazmat (Hazardous Materials), and hazardous goods regulations during transport and delivery. Manage delivery driving tasks including route planning, documentation, and communication with dispatch teams. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, vehicle inspections, and cargo manifests in accordance with FMCSA regulations. Conduct routine vehicle inspections, perform basic maintenance checks, and report any mechanical issues promptly to ensure safety standards are met. Skills Proven experience in commercial truck driving, including delivery driving and route driving in the oilfield or related industries. Proficiency in operating refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and tractor-trailers with manual transmission. Strong knowledge of logistics cargo handling, truck loading/unloading procedures, and freight management. Familiarity with GPS navigation tools for efficient route planning across long-distance OTR routes. Understanding of DOT regulations, FMCSA guidelines, hazardous materials regulations, and dangerous goods handling. Ability to manually handle heavy loads safely while adhering to safety protocols. Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record; experience with automobile transportation is a plus. Effective communication skills for coordinating with dispatch teams and clients in fast-paced environments.
