URGENT HIRE

— Now hiring a CDL Class A driver (or an experienced 2-person team) for an overnight layover route. This starts as a temporary assignment with the opportunity to convert to a permanent position for the right driver(s). Immediate start, paid training.

Please read carefully:

This is a layover route — you'll be out overnight and resting in the truck's sleeper berth. This is NOT a home-daily position. Only apply if you're comfortable with overnight layovers away from home. Solo drivers and experienced teams are both welcome to apply — teams will each be paid $30/hr.

Route Details:

Starting location: 6501 Highpoint Pkwy, Burleson, TX 76028 Departure time: 9:00 AM Destinations (West Texas): Amarillo, Lubbock, Midland, and Tye, TX — stops vary by day depending on load Total distance: ~900+ miles round trip Estimated drive time: 13.5-14 hours (excluding unloading/traffic) Route includes an overnight layover at the last stop — you'll rest in the sleeper berth and drive back to the Burleson yard the following morning

Freight:

frozen/refrigerated, offloaded from Schwan's box trucks onto tractor trailers using manual and electric pallet jacks — light-touch freight Realistic total day length with traffic, unloading, and freezing pallet jack work can run long — please only apply if you're prepared for a full overnight route, not a quick turnaround

Schedule:

Sunday-Thursday, 11:00 AM start until finished (includes overnight layover)

$30.00/hr per driver + overtime Paid training Weekly pay Immediate start

strong performers will be converted to a permanent position

Requirements:

Valid Class A CDL 2+ years (24 months) driving experience Comfortable with overnight layovers / sleeper berth Clean MVR (within last 3 years) Clean PSP report Clear Clearinghouse — No SAP Manual and electric pallet jack experience Able to pass a drug test Teams must have experience running together We're filling this ASAP.
